FAQ

What is Vence? Is it a fit for my use case?

Vence is credit infrastructure for lenders and financial platforms. We help institutions underwrite, originate, service and monitor credit through the Decision API, Trust Graph, Institution Console and developer sandbox. Fit depends on whether you need explainable, auditable credit decisions and facility operations — not whether you need a consumer bank account. Contact us to discuss.

Is Vence a bank or a neobank?

No. Vence is credit infrastructure: APIs and operating tools for lenders and platforms. We do not offer Vence-branded bank accounts, cards, treasury, or consumer banking products.

How is Vence different from Stripe or Plaid?

Stripe and Plaid move or connect money and data. Vence answers who should receive credit, on what limits and conditions, with explainable, auditable decisions and facility context. Vence is built to integrate with Stripe, Plaid, bank rails and payroll — not replace them.

How do I start?

  1. Contact us or use an invite to open Console.
  2. When API access is provisioned, create a sandbox API key, create an entity, underwrite, and verify webhooks.
  3. Graduate to a live environment when Vence enables production for your program.
  4. Contact us for commercial terms.
See Quickstart. Intended API hostnames are documented there; they are founder-beta / coming online, not public live DNS to assume today.

Does Vence offer business banking, cards, or personal accounts?

No. Those are not current or roadmap Vence products. Vence supplies the credit infrastructure beneath products that your organization or customers may build.

What is Credit Network?

Credit Network is Vence’s private prototype execution layer for facility origination, draws, repayments, servicing and recovery. It is not public or production-ready unless your program agreement says otherwise. Contact us for access discussions.

How much does the platform cost?

Contact us for platform pricing. There is no public platform rate card. Sandbox evaluation is available when access is provisioned.
